| Did your pictures not turn out as well as you had hoped? As these examples show, the problem is often in the processing, not your camera. We will be happy to help you diagnose possible causes. | |
|
Blurry, typically
indoor photos, often
yellow or green from indoor lighting: Usually caused by
camera or subject movement. Use a flash if subject
is within range, or use faster film. Color may be
improved, but probably not blurriness.
|
|
Washed-out faces, often
with flash: Usually bad printing. Should
be printed darker by photo lab.
|
|
Grainy, hazy, no detail: Underexposed. Not enough light reached the film. Possible causes: camera set incorrectly or malfunctioning; light meter fooled by bright background; subject out of range of flash. Less commonly caused by inadequate film processing. Photos can not be improved much. |

Poor color:
Probably careless processing, although indoor photos
without flash can be affected by fluorescent or tungsten
lights. Can usually be improved by reprinting.
