Why Choose Armadillo Camera for Your Photofinishing?Many people do not realize how much control the photo lab has over the quality of their photographs. We frequently have customers come in with prints that are washed out or the wrong color, and they assume that there is something wrong with their camera. Usually, however, the problem is sloppy photofinishing. (See example below; also see our Photo Troubleshooting page for more examples.)
We offer the best quality photofinishing in the area. We treat each roll of film as if it were our own and do not hesitate to reprint an order as many times as it takes if we believe it can be improved - before the customer ever sees it. We probably waste more paper than most labs, but our reputation is well worth the expense. Our lab operators take pride in the quality of what they produce - no washed-out faces or magenta-tinted landscapes here! We maintain our equipment to very high standards and keep our chemistry pristine. We run chemistry control checks every day before any customers' film is processed to make sure our standards are being met. We are committed to offering the services our customers need. We have become so successful at this that we are purchasing more lab equipment both to keep up with our increased volume and to be able to offer exciting new digital services. See Services we offer below for more details! Having said this, we also realize that we are not perfect. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your order, we will do our best to make it right. If it is too light or dark for your taste, we will be happy to reprint it; if the color is not quite right, we will do what we can to improve it. Please note, however, that there is not much we can do with underexposed negatives or negatives that have been physically damaged in some way. Our new E-6 slide processing machine is up and running! Doing it in-house allows us to maintain our high standards of quality and consistency. In addition, we are able to offer much faster service than before - usually next-day service. We are also able to push- and pull- process your E-6 slide film.
Our new state-of-the art Noritsu QSS 2711 digital printer is also operational. We now offer a much wider range of services (see below.)
